ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIVISION

ASD provides fiscal and administrative support to the Department of Administration divisions, as well as a variety of other state agencies, offices, boards and commissions. Services include internal service rate setting; financial reporting; budgeting; accounts payable; accounts receivable / revenue collection; timesheet and payroll; contract administration; purchase order administration; and management analysis.

NEVADA DEFERRED COMPENSATION

The Nevada Deferred Compensation Program (NDC) is a voluntary 457(b) retirement savings program for employees of the State of Nevada and other local government employers. The program is designed to supplement your PERS pension and/or other retirement savings and pensions. Contributions are made through payroll deductions and can be pre-tax or post-tax/Roth. NDC is funded from a portion of the Plan's investment fees which are paid by Participants. NDC does not receive money from the State General Fund.

The Human Resources Division provides exceptional, comprehensive HR services that support the State of Nevada’s workforce and promote fair, consistent, and effective personnel practices. FLEET SERVICES DIVISION

The Fleet Services Division delivers safe, reliable, and environmentally conscious transportation solutions for state employees. By managing vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and utilization, the division ensures cost-effective operations and supports agencies in meeting their missions statewide.

MAIL SERVICES DIVISION

Mail Services provides essential state mail services to participating state and local government agencies in the Carson City, Reno, and Las Vegas areas. Services include pickup, processing, and delivery of outgoing mail, and overnight and interoffice mail, which includes overnight interoffice mail service between Carson City and Las Vegas. The United States Postal Service processes and delivers all in-bound mail to the individual agencies on a daily basis. Other services provided in the Carson City and Reno areas include: folding, inserting, addressing, and bulk mailing.
STATE LIBRARY ARCHIVES AND PUBLIC RECORDS
The State Library, Archives, and Public Records Division provides comprehensive government information services that preserve Nevada’s history, support informed decision-making, and promote transparent public access to information. Through its library programs, the division offers research resources, professional support, and statewide information services for government agencies, libraries, and the public. The Archives safeguards the state’s permanent historical and legal records, ensuring their preservation and accessibility for future generations. The Records Management program guides state agencies in the proper creation, maintenance, retention, and disposition of public records, promoting efficiency, compliance, and responsible stewardship. Together, these programs uphold the integrity of Nevada’s documentary heritage and strengthen the state’s information infrastructure.

RISK MANAGEMENT DIVISION

The Risk Management Division preserves and protects state property, personnel, and financial resources by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across all state agencies. Through comprehensive insurance programs, loss prevention strategies, safety training, claims management, and workplace hazard evaluations, the division works to minimize exposure and reduce the impact of unexpected events. Risk Management supports agencies in creating safe work environments, promotes responsible stewardship of state assets, and ensures that incidents are handled efficiently and fairly. STATE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION

The State Public Works Division plans, manages, and delivers capital improvement projects that support the State of Nevada’s infrastructure needs.
