June 11, 2012Nevada citizens and State of Nevada agencies will now have an easier way to find information online relating to the Department of Administration and its Divisions, with the launch of admin.nv.gov. In addition to a new design, the website also features a complete reorganization of information and the ability to expand as more documents and resources are added.
“We are very excited about the new website and its potential to improve information and resource sharing with other state agencies and the general public,” said Director of Administration Jeff Mohlenkamp. “This first phase of development is aimed at improving access to our information and I think we have made great strides in this direction with the new site.”
Major enhancements to the website include:
- A new URL name, www.admin.nv.gov (the prior URL www.dadmin.state.nv.us will be redirected to the new website)
- A new design to remain consistent with the official State of Nevada website www.nv.gov
- New descriptions of services and activities of the division to improve general understanding
- Improved search capabilities
- Improved document management
- Improved document searching/indexing
- A new Questions/Feedback section
