Shanna Rahming, Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS) Administrator and Nevada Chief Information Officer (CIO) is proud to announce David Haws as the new Deputy Administrator for EITS. Prior to accepting this position, David was the IT Administrator at the Department of Employment Training and Rehabilitation and brings a wealth of IT knowledge and experience both in the public and private sector. Throughout his 25 plus professional IT career, he has always been passionate about helping organizations achieve excellent business results through the use of new and emerging information technology. “I am most excited to join the EITS team and help harness this technology for the benefit of Nevada’s citizens, state employees and other associated stakeholders,” David said. “Successful and effective use of technology comes with its own challenges as well as opportunities. Nevada has a great future and successful use of information technology will continue to be part of it. I hope to contribute to its success.”
David reports directly to Shanna Rahming, and his direct reports include Suzie Block, Chief IT Manager/Agency IT Services; Ken Adams, Chief IT Manager/Communications; and Tom Wolf, Chief IT Manager/Computing.
